What is Starknet?
Starknet is a Layer 2 validity rollup on Ethereum that uses STARK proofs, aggregated by SHARP, to settle batches on mainnet. Since v0.14.0 on September 1, 2025, fees can only be paid in STRK. Fees cover L2 computation, L2 data and L1 data.
