Creator fees on top

Bottom line

If you trade Ethereum NFTs often, Blur's zero marketplace fee is the only saving against OpenSea's 1%. For Solana NFTs, which OpenSea does not trade, Magic Eden and Tensor both charge 2%, and Tensor charges makers nothing.

OpenSea still lists the most chains of any marketplace here, 27, and is run by a US company. If you collect across many EVM networks, check that your chain is supported before you move.

How to move from OpenSea safely

  1. Cancel your OpenSea listings and offers before listing the same NFTs elsewhere.
  2. Revoke OpenSea's approval over your collections with a revoke tool after you stop listing there.
  3. Open the new marketplace only from its official URL, and check the collection's contract address.
  4. List one NFT first and check the fee and royalty shown before you confirm.
  5. Keep your NFTs in your own wallet: none of these marketplaces needs a deposit.
